Where friends are made and fun is had - every week!

At Tism Time we smash boring Fridays to smithereens.

Got the tism? High school age or a bit older? You're our people.

Fridays are better with friends

Join our gang this Friday to hang out, play games, eat junk food, and have fun.

Every week, young people just like you, get together to spend a few hours together and have fun.

The oldies probably need to get some stuff done too, so Tism Time means they don't have to worry about you!

Steve and the support team have kids on the spectrum or know us well, so they aren't too worried if we get a bit spicy sometimes.

We always have different things going on, so if you prefer to play a video game with just one person, play D&D with a group, or just chat with a friend, you can call the shots.

Rated 5 out of 5 stars ... Friends for Life!

Do your favourite stuff with people you like being with!

It's easy making friends with people like you, and great fun spending time with them each week.

Try something you've never tried before!

Our Tism Timers do everything from video gaming, sports, board games, even jujitsu!

Be yourself - you're the only one who can!

Most of the gang at Tism Time love being with friends, and being who they are. We all get along, have a great time, and look forward to our Friday night chaos!

Mums and Dads love Tism Time, too!

Having a kid on the spectrum is great, but it can get busy and exhausting. So while our gang are burning energy every Friday, parents are getting to the shops, going on a date, or finally putting their feet up!

Covered by the NDIS!

All of our Tism Timers simply pay a weekly fee from their NDIS budget. There's no commitment period, and you can try it for free to see if it's right for you.

Building social skills and have fun like never before.

Give it a try
this Friday

Your first week is free, just to see that it's right for you. Just book in so we can make you feel welcome.

Founded by a Dad of kids with autism, Steve is happy to chat about Tism Time and answer any of your questions.

Friend Therapy

"Tism Time is a Friday-night community where autistic kids find what school often can’t give them — real friendships, belonging, and something to genuinely look forward to.

Built with patience and deep understanding, it meets each child exactly where they are and lets connection grow at their pace.

This isn’t traditional therapy — it’s friend therapy: positive peer connection in a safe, consistent space.

Over time, confidence builds, walls come down, and kids who once stood on the outside find their people."

Finally Met His Group

"Our son Nathan started this group 4 years ago in the hope of making friends with similar interests to him.

It’s always hard making and keeping “mates” when you have ASD. We live at Chittaway so it wasn’t around the corner but we were happy to try it out.

Straight away he was welcomed and felt comfortable.

He finally met his group of mates and after all this time he still loves Friday group.  The way Steve and his team run the group is very professional and the teens love the events they put on."

Social Leaps and Bounds

"Steve has the magical ability to enable ASD teenagers to interact socially.

It might take some time for them to adjust to a new place and group of people, but the social leaps and bounds they take are amazing."

We host Tism Time every Friday from 6-9PM. We are at Erina Trust Hall (Karalta Rd Erina between Fountain Plaza and the Tennis Courts).

How much does it cost?

Tism Time costs $90 per week, payable from NDIS funds in most cases where a social integration service is covered.

Along with three hours of social program and supervison, we supply snacks each week. On some weeks we hit the movies or activities like ten pin bowling, and the weekly fee also covers these activities.

We always welcome new Tism Timers - come and try the program for free for the first week.

While every case is unique, our Tism Timers have Level One or Level Two autism.
